Leaving

You can leave a space at any time, and you can delete your account.

When you leave a space

You lose access to the space's contents. Content you created stays in the space, attributed to you. If you rejoin later, you regain access.

Two notes for owners and paid members: the last owner of a space has to hand ownership to someone before leaving, and leaving a paid group affects your key — see Keys & paid membership.

When you're removed or banned

An admin can remove you from a space, which takes effect immediately — the space is no longer visible to you. Being removed doesn't take away a key you bought, though like leaving it stops a subscription from renewing — so rejoining is possible if the space lets you back in, and picks a canceled renewal back up if you return before the paid period ends.

A ban additionally prevents you from rejoining, even with an invite — which also makes the canceled renewal final. As with leaving, content you created stays in the space.

When you delete your account

Deleting your account is permanent — there's no undo, and no way to recover the account afterward. Signing in with the same email later starts a fresh, empty account; it doesn't bring anything back.

What happens:

• Your profile is gone. Content you made remains in its spaces, shown as belonging to a deleted account.
• You're out of every space, and your subscriptions stop.

Before you delete, wrap up your money: withdraw your wallet balance and download anything you've purchased — a deleted account can't come back for them.
